Resolutions

I'm not a New Year's resolution kind of girl.  But I also know that there is always room for growth and improvement.  Nothing is perfect.  So given that intro, there are a few things I would like to work on for myself during 2012.

1) Take a walk or meditate for at least 15-20 minutes daily (and make it a priority) to improve both my physical and mental health.

2) Take pictures every day no matter what the subject.  Right now, taking pictures is my favorite creative outlet.  Please note this may mean a few bizarre pictures once in a while.

3)  Work on my marriage and be a wife and mother rather than spending so much time lost in laundry and cleaning.  We are at a critical point in our lives where it is so easy to lose sight of nurturing our relationships.

4) Read.  I know that sounds silly but I love being captivated by a good book; to stretch my imagination and comfort and perspective.

5) Write.  Document our lives for the future.  Just like Allie wrote her life story for Noah to read to her in The Notebook, I want to always remember every little detail.

I'm excited for the new year; a new chapter in our book of family memories.
