Random Stories

I can't pinpoint if the weather or my hormones is to blame, but I've had a killer headache on and off over the past few weeks.  After trying a lot of different remedies, I've found some relief in BC powder!  Disgusting is a nice term to describe the taste and it looks like something from the movie Scarface, but it works like a charm.  I'm glad the headache is subsiding a little and ready to emerge from this fog with new vigor to take on the world.  Or at least tackle the laundry.

Valentines Day is just around the corner and love is in the air.  And ironically enough it just so happens that spring is in the air too.  Well, for at least this week.  I've never really considered myself a flower person but I must be cause I can't wait for the trees to start budding and bulbs to sprout.

The cat has found a new past time. 

I thought that the "newness" of the cat would've worn off a little by now and I wish that I had a picture to share of this moment.  A few nights ago I was in my bathroom brushing my teeth; getting ready for bed.  Over the buzzing sound of my toothbrush I could hear the cat screaming so I leaned away from the sink to get a better view of whatever drama was now occurring in our house.  And there was Abbey sitting in the middle of our bed with the cat between her legs, his back to her tummy, and she trying to pin him to her because she wanted to read him a book.  He was not comfortable or happy about the situation.  Abbey was crushed that he did not want to sit up like a baby doll and listen to a book before bedtime.  And I spent yet another few minutes that night trying to explain to Abbey that she can't just force the cat to do what she wants.
