Hello There!

Remember that post a while back where I made a vow to myself to focus on the living in the moment?  Ok, Ok, don't rub it in; I know it was the last time of posted almost two weeks ago!  Well, needless to say we had more "stuff" come up over the past two weeks that it's certainly been a challenge to keep that focus!  I know what my momma would say.

My girl finally got to see the snow this year.  She ran circles around the front yard with Sam to the point where her cheeks turned rosy and her hair stuck to her sweaty forehead.

Valentine's Day came and went.  I wish I could turn back time cause I feel like I wimped out again this year!  Growing up, we never celebrated the holiday to the extent that folks do now. 

I just hope I can keep this plant alive that Abbey picked out on the weekend grocery shopping trip with daddy.  I'm not very good at keeping plants alive if mother nature can't help me out a little.

Jacob's Riverheads basketball team won the championship this year.  This little guy lives to play basketball and has become a really good player.  His teammates call him "Shorty", not really certain why.
